A much less expensive alternative to custom made footwear is to have existing footwear modified to function or fit better.
Elevations are used to create balance when one leg is shorter than the other leg. The modification can be done to nearly any pair of shoes. Our experts will determine how to divide the elevation between the back and the front, what can be done internally or externally, and how to make the elevation as obscure as possible, yet not adversely affect the way the shoe rolls forward.
Shoes can also be altered for fit, either by simple stretching, or by cutting, splitting and widening a shoe across the bottom to accommodate an excessively wide forefoot.
Rocker bottom soles, when specifically designed, can address a multitude of foot and gait problems, and can be applied to nearly any pair of shoes.
